Entiendo que la herramienta para la toma de decisiones estratégicas hace algo y esto es: to align on the problem. Podrían valer expresiones como centrarse en el problema, o abordar el problema, pero yo nos la usaría porque, en mi opinión, se acercan más a la capacidad humana, que a la de una herramienta (supongo que software). Aliarse tambien tiene sentido y se acerca tambien a la idea de alinearse que yo doy. Suerte.
