English term

diamond plate etching

English to German Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) presentation
Hallo,

Was meint Ihr dazu? Kann man dazu "Riffelblechoptik" sagen? Vielleicht eher eine aufgerauhte Oberfläche...?

Vielen Dank im Voraus
Gisela

denke auch... dass Riffelblechoptik hier wunderbar passt.
David Moore (X) Apr 3, 2013:
Hi Gisela, I'd certainly support the use of your "Riffelblechoptik".
Gisela Baumann (X) (asker) Apr 3, 2013:

Well click on the image and it will enlargen itself; pattern looks very similar to the one in the Wiki-entry!
Note from asker:
"Tränenblech" is more frequently used, but the images appearing on Google are the same (seems synonyme). And no image very similar to the one on the link I mentioned... unfortunately...

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "In the end, you are somewhat right, although the term I found is a synonym. I replaced by "Tränenblechoptik", as this term is more frequently used. Could check also on a close photo that in detail, the material looks like this "Tränenblech" (or Riffelbl"
