Il s'agit d'un cabinet (d'avocats?) dont le client (la direction d'un aéroport) est parvenu à un accord à l'amiable avec la victime d'un accident, portant sur la prise en charge de ses frais médicaux.
Le courrier, adressé à la CPAM de la victime, précise ce qui suit:
"We arranged for the settlement of Mr. X's claim on a compromise basis a number of months ago. There was full and final settlement of Mr. X's claim.
Our clients have no liability to discharge any medical costs over and above the settlement which was agreed with Mr. X."
