French term

Jug NT

French to English Other Medical (general)
It appears in the "examen général" of a patient that comes in for an emergency.

The context is:
CARDIO: régulier, B1-B2 perçu, Jug NT, pas de RHJ

I suppose jug stands for jugulaire, but what is "NT"?

I believe the NT stands for "non-tendue". Another possibility is "normotensive", for "normotendue". Confidence not high because while I can find both terms related to venous and arterial conditions, for the life of me I can't seem to find "jugulaire normotendue" or "jugulaire non-tendue" specifically.

agree Michael Barnett : Hi mark. Given the context it can be nothing else. I'd translate it as "no JVD".
