Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Oct 30, 2013:
This is not to detract from Mr. Zakrzewski's wonderful answer. After consulting with several of my (American) colleagues (and in response to Mr. Zakrzewski), I have come to the conclusion that this formulation is purely British (nothing wrong with that). This title sounds most unnatural, even ungrammatical in American usage, which would go like 1985 Schedule for Companies (Tables A-F). The American tax code is full of such schedules. "The Companies" must have some legal meaning defined earlier in the link provided in Mr. Zakrzewski's answer. Lack of context has created the traps Mr. Polangmar mentions in his comments. Again, I am full of admiration for Mr. Zakrzewski's fitting translation.
