French term

ventes cts de ABC/DEF

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
This appears at the beginning of a paragraph entitled "Effect Relatif" in an "acte de vente" of real estate in France. It is followed by "...suivant acte recu par Maitre XYZ....." Is this "cts" "on behalf of" or does it have another standard meaning?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

It looks like Germaine has lost interest in this question, but I'm guessing that ABC/DEF is someone's name, and I think Cécile is probably right.

Without more context one guess is as good as the next. Please answer Phil's question and/or explain why you think it means on behalf of.

What is ABC/DEF?

agree philgoddard : Maybe "and others"? This says "pejorative", which is obviously not the case here: http://dictionary.reverso.net/french-english/consort

Thank you philgoddard. Yes, I guess we could use the words "consorts" or "associates"
