Swedish term or phrase: Omloppsplan
I'm translating a document about a train operator's processes, and the section in question is about train maintenance. There is a list of reasons why their service provision is upheld while they carry out maintenance, and one of the reasons is the 'Produktion av omloppsplan' - is an omloppsplan this the same as a time table here?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this!

The short answer here, I believe, it no. But this suggestion really requires more context to answer for sure. The Swe KTH reference below describes your term, but uses a three word definition, and not my suggestion. The other references describe basically the same process and use this term. Your context should help you decide...

There you go, the short answer is..., indeed, no!

Thank you, after getting some more context from the client it was indeed a rolling stock roster of planned maintenance.

agree  Charlesp: I like the rooster element; sounds like the trains are moving early in the morning!
23 mins
-> Up before the break of dawn!

disagree  Sven Petersson: The Swedish word "plan" may not be translated to "planning"; "planning" is "planering".

-> You couldn't resist, could you...Otherwise, I'll check with the Academy to see what they have to say about this...
