orthopedics of the knee
From a training module on orthopedics. I may be missing something due to fatigue, I am not sure whether this is a specific kind of knee pain or whether it refers to the mechanical-like (regular?) time periods when the knee pain presents. TIA, Jason.

I agree that "horaire" implies some sort of schedule, but that doesn't mean that this specific word needs to be translated; "mechanical pain" implies that the pain occurs on a schedule (i.e. during the day) that is different from inflammatory pain

Though I'm not sure if either of them is quite right. I wonder if "d'horaire" means "regularly recurring" and "mécanique" means "mechanical".

Thanks, but you can't ignore the first one. I've been Googling "douleur d'horaire", and it clearly means something like "occurring at specific times of day", eg at night.
