As far as I can gather, this is some kind of metal frame in-filled with rockwool.
Can anyone tell me what the technical term is ?
I'm working against the clock on this very confidential document (so no more context) and my hunting hasn't got me anywhere.

I know the metal frames you mean: very common in France, but not in the UK, where wood is generally used. As for "demi-stil" I'm not sure there is a direct equivalent in EN, but others will probably know better.

"Si vous voulez faire un doublage, le béton cellulaire n'est pas suffisant en temps que matériau isolant. Autant raisonner sur un doublage en demi-stil sur ossature métallique ou bois et parement plaque de plâtre, avec des panneaux de laine minéralen en laissant une lame d'air. Vous perdrez ainsi autant de surface qu'avec le mur en béton cellulaire, mais avec meilleure performance thermique. "
