I'm rather more intrigued by their use of 'initial' here — not entirely clear why they specifically state that — and what the implied difference would be if this was, for example, the second time it failed? I suspect perhaps they mean 'si l'origine de la panne s'avère...' or something along those lines...

I'm assuming, of course, that 'field' here means 'in the field' — it sounds like they are saying to not uninstall and ship back the entire jacuzzi to the factory if it is in fact just one little control unit that goes wrong.
