Medical (general)
This term appears in a pathology report concerning a CT-guided lung biopsy. At the top of the report, under the heading “SPECIMEN”, the following is written: “Bloc(s): 1 Bloc(s) Nv: 0 Bloc(s) Cg: 0 Lame(s): 15“. All of my searches have been fruitless. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

frozen block
I probably shouldn't venture into this since it's not one of my areas of expertise, but it seems to me that Cg could be congelé(s):
"Nombre de blocs en paraffine : _________ Nombre de blocs congelés : ___________"

"The frozen block (containing the biopsy) is sectioned at a thickness of 6μm"
