Homework / test French to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Hi,

I'm translating a PowerPoint document relating to sales objectives from French into British English. The tricky phrase appears on the glossary page of the presentation. Below is some context to help.

'Session = cadre de travail pour lequel des objectifs vont être définis
Axe d’analyse = Segmentation de la session à fin d’analyse
Méthode d’éclatement = Périodicité selon laquelle définir ses objectifs selon les axes d’analyses
Loi d’éclatement = Permet d’appliquer plusieurs types de périodicités aux axes d’analyses'

I'm thinking that it could be simply "framework", but I'm not feeling 100% confident on it. Are there any better suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Louise Baker Nov 3, 2015:
Framework I would agree with "framework" as a translation. In other contexts "cadre de travail" could translate as "working environment", but in this case seems to refer more to the scope of work in a planning context. I think that "framework" conveys this.
