English term

sweeping cruz

English to Spanish Medical Medical: Instruments Orthopedics & Traumatolog
Hola, necesito ayuda para comprender esta expresión en una presentación sobre técnica quirúrgica XLIF.-

Esto es todo el contexto que tengo:

"Transdiaphragmatic Retroperitoneal Approach

Main concern is ensuring superior wall of the diaphragm is not incised
Use posterolateral incision to palpate diaphragm and ensure safe trajectory to spine

Standard XLIF Approach:

No need to take a rib
Access is through intercostal muscles
Going through proximal diaphragmatic attachment at chest wall, sweeping cruz anterior at spine"

¡Gracias!

Peer comment(s):

disagree M. C. Filgueira : Los "crura of diaphragm" se llaman en castellano "pilares del diafragma"; "hacía anterior" no significa nada en castellano. Saludos cordiales.

Shame you didn't arrive earlier. Tell all the orthopedic surgeons who I have seen write the expression "hacia anterior" 100s of times. BTW do you ever agree with suggestions, you only ever seem to disagree or mark as non-pro?
