yes, some grammar error or typo ... generally it was meant to cover it all: the provider sold/supplied them directly, was connected with the sale/supply of, knew about the sale/supply of...

Source text error Althouth the beginning of the sentence is grammatically inept, it does make sense, though as Robbp says, the first 'which' ought to be 'whose' (= 'of which' here); however, I am convinced there is another error later in the, as I don't believe 'an had' can possibly be right! I suspect it is meant to be 'had had' or 'has had', depending on the sequence of tenses used throughout; it is possible this might be a transcription / dictation error — particualrly if, as I suspect, this is from a non-native source.
