buy out/capture and buy out
This is how it sounds to me. A buyout has a specific meaning in business, but it can be taken over to the game scenario. The idea of a "forced/involuntary buyout" also comes to mind. "Capture and buy out" containes both aspects of the term.

: Extremely unidiomatic, misleading, and unheard-of. (The references you cite are not in point!)

outbid
If you need one word it will do, as, I guess, it is an auction-like situation.
Like "Player XXX outbids you! You loose the timber mill"

buy away from [me]
In a game context:
другим игрокам разрешено перекупить у меня = the other players have an opportunity to buy the item away from me.

Alternative (more straightforward): buy the item from me at a higher price.

snatch
по смыслу, который вы описали, это не консенсуальный акт ни разу, и деньги взносятся не на ваш счёт, поэтому это не перекупить, а банально стырить)
