German to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Office Administration
Allgemeine administrative Büroaufgaben wie beispielsweise Korrespondenz aller Rundschreiben, Bearbeitung des Posteingangs- und Ausgangs und Versenden von Mailings


From a work reference for somebody who worked in a wholesaling company.

I'm not sure what "Korrespondenz aller Rundschreiben' means here. Is it the correspondence from all circulars i.e correspondence generated by the circulars or does it mean "correspondency of all circulars" i.e. "seeing that the circulars all agree"

"correspondence of all circulars" just doesn't sound quite right in English.

Korrespondenz does not mean "administration". I do not think Korrespondenz here means "administration of" or "administering". It is too distant from the concept of administration of the circulars themselves (e.g. obtaining the files or exemplars, managing the distribution list, and dispatching the circulars).

'Handling correspondence' may raise more questions than it solves. 'Handling' by itself is a good idea, though. But it's not the handling of correspondence relating to the circulars, it's the handling of the circulars themselves. In that sense, "Korrespondenz' must be more than the mechanics of sending them out. To me, this suggests the person responsible must generate them first, that is, actually compose or write them before sending them out.
