Medical (general)
This appears in a pancreas endoscopic ultrasound report under the "Results" heading. Previous ultrasounds discovered a suspicious mass around the pancreas and now the patient has been referred for this endoscopic ultrasound. Here's the full context under "Results":
I take it that the adenopathies were punctured for some kind of biopsy? But I am drawing a blank on what the "pot formol and cytolit" are - I have found "cytolyt" but I am not certain that this is the same thing. As ever, your insights would be most gratefully received!

: I wonder if a plural is implied (formalin pot 1 and Cytolyt pot 1) as I have never heard of both fixatives being used in combination/as a mixture.

Comment: "Many thanks for your help and insights! I chose "container" instead of "pot" as this seemed to be a more common choice. "
Discussion
And I absolutely agree with "containers".
