I am translating a document on an image processing-based system for angle measurements on press brakes.
The sentence in question reads:

The xyz system analyses processed images of the material and tools during the bending process and by capturing the *** material limb *** information, the xyz system determines the inside and outside angles of the part - where both sides are open. From this, the angle of the bend can be accurately determined, taking into account any measured variations in machine deflection.
