I know the source text is in French, but sometimes English abbreviations are used by French medical staff.

Some oedema seems not unlikely in this place, but I'd be more than baffled to see a cardiologist, internist or GP perform fundoscopy when asking about (or looking for) a patient's cardiovascular symptoms!
