Apr 15, 2021 08:38: Yvonne Gallagher changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Apr 22, 2021 12:04: Conor McAuley Created KOG entry

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (2): Conor McAuley, Daryo

Non-PRO (3): mchd, Rob Grayson, Yvonne Gallagher

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Thanks Saeed. This question must constitute a PRO question then, golly gosh!

Can't find it as an abb. All hits do however confirm HS in the context of a fiche ou bulletin de paie refers to heures supp.
Here is another link: https://www.compta-online.com/heures-supplementaires-exonere...
Les 8 premières heures supplémentaires sont en principe majorées de 25%. Une convention collective peut limiter le taux de la majoration à 10%.

Au-delà de la 43ème heure, le taux de la majoration des heures supplémentaires est fixé à 50%.

Could you find "HS" in your dictionaries?
Conor McAuley Apr 15, 2021:
Thanks very much Saeed, great reference!

Thanks Saeed! I couldn't find the term in any of my dictionaries, strange that...
agree Daryo : you don't need any dictionary or glossary for this one just - some real world experience.

Common sense and a bit of intelligence. Thanks for tangentially confirming that the term isn't in dictionaries.
Something went wrong...
