French term

SER

French to English Medical Medical (general) electromyography
Hi,
I unfortunately don't have much information and the sentence makes no sense to me:
G TIBIAL ANTERIEUR: FD+, IP accéléré 8 mV
G VASTE MEDIAL: SER Tracé intermédiaire riche pf un predominant
G 1er INTEROSSEUX: FD+, tracé IP accéléré

I believe
FD = Flexion Dorsal = Dorsiflexion = DF
IP = interphalangeal

Thanks for your help

Joanna

Discussion

Sue Davis Feb 14:
I think that somatosensory evoked responses are responses to stimulation of the skin measured in the brain and spinal cord rather than muscle.
Sue Davis Feb 13:
The only ref I can find for SER in this context is as an abbreviation of serratus anterior, a scapular/shoulder muscle. That doesn't seem to fit here unless "Tracé intermédiaire riche pf un predominant" refers to two different muscles.

neutral Sue Davis : Vastus medialis is supplied by the femoral nerve which arises from the lumbar spinal cord and does not pass close to the sacrum https://www.leagravetherapy.co.uk/the-femoral-nerve. So I am not sure that sacral evoked responses would be applied here.
