General tone Roald. My comment was actually in response to "roguestate"'s response. I've no idea who he/she is but I think you'll agree that the commment was a little tedious ("Go on I won't tell anyone"???) and not really what we want/need on this site, unless you think I'm being too touchy? On a more serious note, I take your point about "air process" but I did get several hits using that coupling. Thanks anyway.

Roald Toskedal Mar 3, 2004:
Ammm, but I beg to differ, Andy. In most cases, it would be of importance to know what kind of process, or at least what industry sector the phrase pertains to. Each industry field have its own lingo, you know... :)
Non-ProZ.com Feb 21, 2004:
? That's really all there is - I guess either you know it or you don't!
roguestate Feb 21, 2004:
Maybe a wee bit more context, what device are we talking about? Go on I won't tell anyone.

I don't know whether your own suggestions:
"Air process turbo compressor (no hits on Google)
Process air turbo compressor (some hits on Google)"
are guesses or whether turbo and compressor actually are words in your text!

"Exhaust air process" is applicable both for cars and in many industrial places (see Google, so I hope my reply will be helpful!
