Explanation:
Det lyder som om, der måske alternativt kunne have stået "current work" - d.v.s. de reparationer, der er blevet udført nu mens bilen har været på værksted.

Explanation:
Open work normally means current unfinished work / work that is still open, e.g. not finished. But in this case it seems to mean work outside the repair work that was done.

I have also had difficult dealings a car mechanic in Esbjerg. Not with the work, but with incorrect costs and administration (we were charged for a vehicle we didn't even own and had to pay for their repairs).
