Er is wat verschil van mening over 'transfer cap' en 'transfer coping' bij een klant. Zodoende hier deze vragen. Mijn eerste ingeving is niet vertalen. Later moest coping abutment worden, en cap kap, , maar is transfer verschillend vertaald.

Dus: wat is wijsheid? Ik kom weinig vertalingen tegen. Het betreft hier de afdekking van een 'transfer coping', in de afbeelding het rode 'dopje'. Toch laten zoals het is?

3.4 Afdrukstiften en laboratoriumanalogen


Gesloten lepel afdruk

Voor het ‘gesloten lepel’ afdrukken zijn er afdrukstiften met een kunststof kapje beschikbaar.
De kunststof afdrukkap plaatst u over de afdrukstift nadat deze gefixeerd is met de bijbehorende schroef. Als de afdruk uit de mond wordt genomen, blijft de kap stevig in het afdrukmateriaal zitten.
De afdrukstift kan daarna weer nauwkeurig op de juiste positie teruggeplaatst worden in het kapje en afdrukmateriaal.

In het voorbeeld gaat het over stiften, maar i.p.v. die stiften kun je natuurlijk ook abutments gebruiken.

Zoals je ziet wordt op die afdrukstift een kapje/kap geplaatst.

Het idee is hetzelfde.
In jouw geval wordt er op het afdrukabutment een kapje/kap geplaatst.
