Can anyone tell me if figures in Arabic are written from right to left (as the words in Arabic are) ? So should a phone number in an Arabic text be written in a different sequence to the same number in an English text ? And secondly, does Arabic have its own characters for representing the figures (I was always told our figures are \'Arabic figures\', but I have a customer insisting that in Arabic they use different ones) ? Thanks very much for any help !
