sott'aceto/sottaceti Explanation: Purtroppo in inglese la parola "pickled" ha un solo significato: "sott'aceto" - non sott'olio o in conserva...anche se non ho mai sentito parlare di un "pickeld fruit". Potresti dire semplicemente "sottaceti", senza specificare ne` frutta ne` verdura. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 58 mins (2005-07-10 19:57:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Mi corrego - \"pickled\" si riferisce anche ad i frutti conservati e si puo` dire tranquillamente \"pickled fruits and vegetables\" (vedi il sito sottostante) Delicious pickled recipes for fruits and vegetables www.freerecipe.org/Side_Dishes/Pickled_Fruits_and_Vegetable... |

mostarde di frutta e sottaceti Explanation: non mi piace "conservata" o "in conserva" mi pare troppo generico, comprende anche prodotti sott'olio o marmellate e non è quello che dice la voce inglese -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr 19 mins (2005-07-10 20:17:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Dal Concise Oxford Dictionary pickle noun a relish consisting of vegetables or fruit preserved in vinegar, brine, or mustard |
