English term

commissioning

English to Japanese Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation power plant construction
This is from a description of power plant construction. I would like to know the difference between 'testing' and 'commisioning.' Both could mean '試運転.' I would be happy if you could post your answer.

Original text is 'This package include design, fabrication, delivery, transportation to the site, unloading, storing, erecting, testing, starting-up, commissioning and maintaining of 4*250MW combustion turbines generators and auxiliaries including all related mechanical and electrical works necessary for placing a complete operational system for the site.'

The カタカナ流し might seem like a cop-out, but in my experience this is the term commonly used in the construction industry. The web reference below has all the information you need, including a detailed definition of the word.

Also, in my experience, the difference between commissioning and testing is that testing is done to SEE if the thing works and commissioning to PROVE that it does. That's why, depending on the context, you might also use something like 試験 and 検証 to show the difference in meaning.
