realmente achei um link com esse termo (em espanhol, mas serve muito bem) [ http://www.dogchow.cl/cuidados_y_consejos/cuidados_nutricioncachorros.html ], e segundo a tradução da Regina Boltz, realmente se trata da comida de mesa humana , ou da "people food" como a Sarah colocou.
