a. Pre-Employment/Pre-Access Testing: No Contractor’s employee will be permitted to perform work for the Owner unless the Contractor certifies that its employee has satisfactorily passed a pre-employment/pre-access alcohol and drug test within a 12 month period prior to his/her employment.
b. For Cause Testing: All Contractors will be required to drug/alcohol test any employee who, in the sole judgment of Owner, exhibits unusual actions and/or behaviors which might suggest drug and/or alcohol abuse. An Owner employee’s observations of dysfunctional behavior on the part of the Contractor’s employee must be reported to Owner management and the Contractor’s supervision for appropriate action.
