La consulta a continuación está relacionada con sistemas de recolección de agua. Mi duda es con el término "tapstand". Cabe destacar que anteriormente ya habían hecho una consulta relacionada con dicho término:

sin embargo y en mi opinión este es un contexto totalmente distinto. A continuación la sección que contiene mi duda:

• Tapstands on rainwater tanks were initially placed too high, wasting 25% of the tank’s capacity. The height of the taps were subsequently lowered to an appropriate height.

• Taps are also unfamiliar to rural communities, who have the tendency to remove the taps leading to uncontrolled discharge from rainwater tanks. A user designed modification involves attachment of a plastic water bottle to the end of the tap spout which is effective and easy to operate.

No estoy muy seguro que sea "grifo/llave" por " ... have the tendency toremove the taps..."

En tu caso parece que el grifo se instala en el depósito, no separado como en esta imagen (antes lo colocaban demasiado alto y cuando quedaba poca agua ya no salía por el grifo).
