Me encuentro con estos término en una lista de alimentos para una dieta:

Veal, lean chop, roast, cutlet (no breading)

Veo que "chop" y "cutlet" se traducen como "chuleta" indistintamente, pero hay una diferencia:

Chop: a small cut of meat often INCLUDING PART OF A RIB
Cutlet. a small, thin slice of meat

Según la definición de "chuleta" de la RAE, correspondería a "chop": costilla con carne de animal vacuno, lanar, porcino, etc.

¿Cuál sería la traducción adecuada de "cutlet"? Se me ocurre "filete", ¿sería correcto?

La verdad es que no hay una diferencia estricta entre "chop" y "cutlets". En la práctica, la mayor es que "chop" se usa más que nada para cerdo y cordero.
Creo que "chuletas y filetes" sería la traducción más adecuada en el contexto.
