Si se trata de una caja de cambios, al estar en punto muerto, se puede acelerar o desacelerar sin tracción.

It features three modes of operation, full AUTO, custom, and manual modes. Full AUTO and custom modes manage the engine and transmission to match the desired ground speed to the field conditions. These two modes are ideal for most conditions and take the guess work out of operation. Manual mode is perfect for operators looking to operate the e18 like a traditional PowerShift by bump shifting and managing the engine throttle to their liking.
Quien sabe, fue escrito en ShangHai? En Ingles parece que debe leerse asi;
*****When the automatic shift mode is in use (auto position) that is F4, the Rpm of the engine determined by the gas pedal, accelerator (and the torque) will determine the gear automatically. (Shifting up and down according to the need)*****
It seems to imply you can change gear by just pressing/releasing the accelerator (opening or closing the throttle), which is what happens with an automatic gear box. i.e. there's no need to press the clutch in and change gears.
En fin : "you can change gears just by opening or closing the throttle", "se puede cambiar de marcha presionando o soltando el acelerador"
