Hola, estoy traduciendo un manual de instrucciones sobre un sistema que se instala en tiendas y supermercados para que los clientes puedan pagar sin necesidad de pasar por caja, como un cajero automático. En el apartado dedicado a explicar cómo deben reponer los billetes los empleados, tengo la siguiente frase:
"The notes are fed one by one in the note recycler. Since the notes are stored in the recycler in a role, it is recommended to feed the notes in a random order."

No entiendo qué quiere decir "role" aquí, ¿será un typo y querrá decir "roll"?
