French term

pollinisation

French to English Other Education / Pedagogy
This is a heading about a training program for citizen journalists in Syria:

"Formation & ***Pollinisation****"
Here's the first sub-heading:
"formation continue à distance
"L’échange et la formation continue font partie intégrante de XXX...."

My guess is that it means that the trainees will in turn train others, but I don't know what the right term for that would be. I'd rather not use pollination unless nothing better comes up.

cross-pollination

I think the implication is not so much formal training as an informal exchange of ideas. There are other ways to say this, but it would be a shame to lose the metaphor.
Example sentence:

We deliberately opted for close cooperation between internal and external experts for ... the coaching experiment. This cross-pollination occurs because of the collaboration between federal and local police forces

In the same way, when you cross-pollinate ideas, you make your business stronger. You’ll be better able to weather the difficulties that every business and brand has to face to survive.

Note from asker:
Funnily enough, adding just a little word, "cross," makes it sound good! I'd better check that it means what I think it means.

dissemination

Same idea as pollination, but in a more common usage
Example sentence:

The dissemination of ideas...

Peer comment(s):

agree John Holland : FWIW, I thought of "dissemination" too, but I don't think it works as well, syntactically, as the other proposed answer.
