Portrait chinois

French to English Other Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino
The expression is part of a tourist marketing session where participants are asked to associate a certain destination with different objects... I understand that it's an expression used in French to refer to the game we play as children where we ask each other questions in order to find out who is the "mysterious" person saying something like " if it were... a tree, what kind of tree would it be?" Am I wrong?
Can someone tell me what that game is called in English, if applicable?
Thanks!!

No, don't laugh.
I'm not at all sure, but I found this site, which seems to fit the description. Haven't investigated any further.

twenty questions

I've been looking at descriptions of this game, and the closest I can come to, that would be readily recognized by an English-speaking reader is "twenty questions," that is, a game where you have to figure out who somebody or something is, by asking a series of questions.
