French term

pour l’entreprise augmentée, pour l’homme augmenté, pour la marque augmentée

French to English Marketing IT (Information Technology) marketing slogan
Part of a marketing text about future technologies.

One online website has it translated as "digital-ready company" but this doesn't make sense for the others.

Discussion

Philippe Etienne Feb 12, 2019:
Marketing I'd translate all of it as "augmented" to match augmented reality (a bit of actual reality and a bit of VR). It's marketing, so anything around augment, empower, -driven and similar buzzwords is very trendy. Wrapped up in a catch phrase such as "Looking forward: explore a whole new world of possibilities and protect your most valuable assets through GDPR-compliant next-gen whizzgolgoths".
philgoddard Feb 12, 2019:
Thanks. In that case I think "digital-ready" works well.
Graham Lees (asker) Feb 12, 2019:
Unfortunately it's a very short text without much context. It's talking about the future of technology in general and Industry 4.0. "entreprise augmentée" seems to be a fairly common term used on various French websites and is apparently derived from an Anglo-saxon term but I've never heard of it before.

"Elle [la technologie] peut devenir un vrai levier de performance et de croissance pour l’entreprise augmentée, pour l’homme augmenté, pour la marque augmentée et pour la France."
philgoddard Feb 12, 2019:
We need a bit more context, please. What is "future technologies"? What does it say after this? Is it business-to-business copy?

businesses, brands, people, with a digital-first mindset/digital-ready culture

I'd stay away from "augmented"

I agree that "digital-ready" is OK but offer an alternative here.
But plural nouns work better in English.
Also, "a/the country", rather than "France" perhaps? (I assume context lets us know we are talking about France?)

OR... businesses, brands, people, a country where digital ideas and solutions are the default option.

Something like:

It/technology can become
a powerful tool/engine/key driver of growth and performance
for businesses, brands, people, and the country/France
that have a digital-first mindset/ a digital-ready culture
