Marie, Please give the full sentence. Context is absolutely vital for a good translation, and, as it stands, it looks rather "piecy".

It is important to note that

As the pronoun is omitted I think the English translation needs to reflect the more emphatic register of the sentence.

On page 3 of the Annual Report of the international Bureau for Children’s Rights
(Le Bureau International des Droits des enfants) there is a sentence that commences with 'Constatons que..... and this is translated as 'It is important to note that...').
