I am wondering if there is any more 'legal' term that would be better than 'without limit' in this context. Perhaps I am over thinking it, but I have a doubt that I may be missing something.
L’invention sera mieux comprise, et ses avantages ressortiront mieux, à la lumière des exemples suivants, qui sont donnés à titre illustratif, et sans limitation.
At the moment I have: The invention will be better understood, and its benefits will stand out better, in the light of the following examples, which are given as illustrations and without limit.

: "Without limitation" is the usual legal phrase. I assume there is something akin to ejusdem generis in French law....

I found the above with a bit of googling and I believe it is appropriate in your context, although a bit wordy.
