This is from a patent of a combustion engine for driving a drive shaft, to be applied, in particular in the aeronautical field.
TIA!

French term (edited):
à puissance égale
Selected
for a given delivered power
The ST would be clearer with a comma before 'à puissance égale'.
It is saying, basically, that the air-flow or input temperature can be reduced, using the proposed system, for a given delivered power.

I understand limiter le débit d'air et/ou la température en entrée de la turbine libre à puissance égale as 'to limit the flow/delivery ... without loss of power' (compared to previous designs). The turbine yields to the same power, but uses less air. And less air means less temperature.
An alternate term is “equal to” (cf. Linguee). But first some excerpts from the patent with illustrations.

The present invention concerns a heat engine for driving a drive shaft, comprising at least a gas generator and a turbine (6), the gas generator supplying the turbine with engine gas and the turbine driving the engine shaft in rotation. The engine is characterised in that the gas generator is a four-stroke internal combustion engine (14), in that it comprises a compressor (21) for supplying air to the
internal combustion engine, the compressor being mechanically driven by the internal combustion engine, and in that the turbine (6) is mechanically free relative to the internal combustion engine.
:
Performance can be further improved by cooling the air after each compression stage BP. Weight / power ratio improved: The strong boost to reduce the capacity of the gas generator, compared to an internal combustion engine of the same power.
:
Cooling the air after the compressor also reduces the necessary displacement.
:
For each cylinder, in four, 15, 16, 17 and 18, are taking place successively four cycle time, ie suction, compression, expansion and exhaust. The exhaust of the cylinders communicates with an exhaust manifold 19 that guides the gas after the exhaust of the cylinders in the intake manifold of the free turbine of the gas 6. The gases are expanded in the turbine 6 and is discharged, after possibly passing through a collector, not shown. The crankshaft 20 is mechanically connected to a compressor 21 via a gear box 22 so as to adapt the rotational speed of the compressor 21 to the proper operating speed thereof, which is different from the motor 14. The compressor feeds the air cylinder to a pressure as high as possible, preferably after the latter has been cooled in a suitable heat exchanger 23
In operation, air is sucked by the compressor 21, optionally cooled in exchanger 23, admitted into the cylinders with a suitable fuel, compressed, combusted, expanded and discharged into the manifold 19 and then admitted into the turbine 6.
:
The cooling also reduces the work required for compression. Compared to an open-cycle engine, the solution of the invention allows higher ratios relaxing in the free turbine, and an air ratio - more fuel. This limits the flow of air and / or inlet temperature of the free turbine at equal power.
