French to English Medical Medical (general) clinical trials

From a letter from a contract research organisation to the CNOM to submit the financial agreements for a trial.
"... nous vous prions de trouver ci-joint les documents suivants:
- Résumé du protocole
- Avis favorable correspondant du CCPPRB
- Modèles des conventions financières investigateur, ***investigateur association***, ***biologiste association*** et investigateur coordinateur proposées."

I've not come across investigateur association or biologiste association before.

In the reply from the CNOM they make no mention of them:
"Il lui est apparu que les conventions proposées aux médecins investigateurs, aux bactériologistes ou biologistes réalisant les examens biologiques et celle du coordonnateur ne comportaient pas de dispositions contraires..."
