French term

dépose

French to English Tech/Engineering Printing & Publishing
Hello

In:

Aujourd’hui, nos équipes produisent sur le matériel le plus récent du marché avec des process optimisés, depuis la PAO jusqu’à la ***dépose*** des supports de communication obsolètes.

I'm stuck for a number of reasons.

Firstly, I can often find "dépose SUR..." but not "dépose DE..." on Internet

Secondly, I'm puzzled why the company speaks of "obsolete" mediums at all in advertising material

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

@all Thanks
I've had this all along for colours in printing and I just couldn't deal with the sudden change of meaning. It now looks easy after your help

They both make and put up the advertising material, including taking down whatever was on the billboard (for example)

A poster for a film that has already come out, or for an exhibition that has taken place, for example, would be obsolete in that case.
