German to English Tech/Engineering Furniture / Household Appliances Lamp part

Hi all,

I was given very little information here, apart from knowing that the name of the product is "Metall-Federring, E14, mit Tellerhülse". I think I have managed to work out that "metal Federring" is a "shade ring with a spring socket", however I'm not sure what "Tellerhülse" is referring to. Could it be some sort of lamp socket?
