Then I'd say it's a 50~50 toss-up between "tooth-gum ratio" and "tooth-gum relationship" ... unless you feel it needs the more formal tones of "tooth-periodontal ratio or relationship" - depends how formal the rest of it is, doesn't it? Good Luck anyway!!

The chapter.. certainly relates to reconstructive surgery following loss of teeth as a result of trauma or disease.
