Japanese term or phrase: 登録記事
An ongoing exchange of documents about copyright between an American and a Japanese company. There is no other context, I received an excel file and after this line there is only a code number. Wondering if translating 記事 as " article " would be ok.
Thanks

English translation:登録"生地" = material/fabric/textile
Explanation:
This is just surmising, but since your topic concerns textiles and patents, could the word "記事" be a mistake for 生地 (material/fabric/textile) rather than article (記事)?

Certain textiles are patented/registered so perhaps it can be concerning a patented material/fabric.
