I don't know how much Norwegian you know, but the form in which this sentiment is expressed in the original is not more lyrical than my translation - i.e. not at all!

I don't think that there's any deeper meaning in this than what it actually says... Could be that two lovers had a wonderful time together and what one of them says is that although it's too good to be true, they hope it's not an illusion.
