Without more context, I can suggest this.

The degree of affection
ميزان دوستاشتن has two components: مضاف + مضاف الیه, which in English is known as a prepositional phrase. The preposition in Farsi in this phrase is only evident through an intonation or حرکت or just this sound /ə/ which is appear after the first word. It is not evident in writing. ميزان means the degree or the level, and دوستاشتن which is written in a colloquial manner means to love/to have an affection/to like. The written form of دوستاشتن is دوست داشتن.
