Esta pergunta está no mesmo contexto de outra que fiz agora mesmo.

O certificado da universidade diz que o aluno fez a defesa da sua dissertação de mestrado, “sendo considerado aprovado com a média 10.”

Considerando que se trata de uma dissertação de mestrado, é adequado usar “to pass” para traduzir esse termo - “aprovado” - como em “passing with a grade of 10” ou “and that he passed with a grade of 10”?
