This is in the context of a capital contribution to a Cooperative Society (or other economic association).
I suppose that förlagsinsatser could simply be called a "capital contribution," but I am wondering if it is possible to refer to them as "subordinated debentures."
(oh, and something additional to add: as distinguished from insatsemission

Det verkar som om "förlagsinsats" innebär att någon som inte är medlem i en ekonomisk förening ger ett bidrag till föreningen, ett slags lån. Om föreningen går omkull har man då svårare att få tillbaka sina pengar ("subordinated").
En insatsemission innebär att man tar pengar ur föreningen själv, från fritt eget kapital till bundet eget kapital.
Det verkar alltså handla om ifall pengarna kommer utifrån (förlagsinsats) eller inifrån föreningen (insatsemission).
Jag vet tyvärr inte vad det ska heta på engelska, men hoppas att detta hjälper lite i all fall.
