A worldview is a theory of the world, used for living in the world. A world view is a mental model of reality — a framework of ideas & attitudes about the world, ourselves, and life, a comprehensive system of beliefs — with answers for a wide range o

: Definitely. "Föreställningsvärld" here refers to his theory and the range of entities and concepts that are part of it. There's nothing specifically imaginary or perceptual about this.

: Could possibly be used, but corresponds better to the Swedish "världsåskådning" which is a somewhat different concept.

I think it could be used because it is preceeded by "moraliska", in another context it wouldn't suit

the world of representation
"But the moral model, even in the originary scene and its ritual reproduction, belongs to the world of representation rather than that of reality; to seek to realize it in the world is (as Kant well understood) to commit a category error analogous to affirming the possibility of drawing a perfect circle on a blackboard."

world of Forms/Ideas
The Swedish is föreställningvärld or idévärld
http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idévärld
Plato's theory of Forms or theory of Ideas asserts that non-material abstract (but substantial) forms (or ideas), and not the material world of change known to us through sensation, possess the highest and most fundamental kind of reality.

: No, I must disagree, this has nothing to do with Plato's theory of forms.// Done, see discussion.

: "...moral philosophy..." would be a nice option (...but "world view" is still better, I think).

Another option would be simply "ideas".
Discussion
Ok, Anna, I'm rusty about the details, but in essence Plato's theory of forms refers to a specific theory of metaphysics and epistemology (although this is a somewhat anachronistic characterization). The theory postulates a special domain of being - "eidea" or, in translation, "ideas" or "forms" - that, according to his theory, is the basis both of being as we know it and real knowledge. The forms were, he thought, only accessible through the intellect, not through perception. They were not mere psychological or imagined phenomena, as suggested by Swedish/English "ide/idea" - but real, "objective" "beings". Considered collectively and speaking loosely, these forms can be seen as constituting a "world" parallell to the world as we know it.
Swedish "föreställningsvärld", on the other hand, is a very common Swedish word, which we use frequently without referring to Plato's theory or world of forms.
