Es importante destacar también que dentro del predio de la Finca....... se halla en proceso de licitación una futura planta de generación eléctrica (Nombre de la Compañía: G..........), la cual es una central termo léctrica alimentada a carbón - Ver plano abajo -. Esta planta tiene grandes posibilidades de ser concretada, la fecha tope de definición de este proyecto será mediados de septiembre de 2005. Según información recolectada en la visita, esta planta será de última generación (a nivel de reducción de contaminación) pero los residuos principales son las cenizas, las cuales podrán ser vendidas a la industri cementera para su manufactura. El área reservada de la planta termo eléctrica es de 100 Ha y el área reservada pra el acopio de cenizas es de 28 Ha. El área reservada de la planta termo eléctrica ha sido reservada en los terrenos elevados de la Finca. Al momento de redacción del presente informe, no se ha recibido aún el Estudio de Impacto Ambiental de dicha planta generadora eléctrica, el cual servirá como fuente de información para determinar el grado de contaminación que puede generar la planta, tanto de residuos sólidos que se acopiaran en el área de infoencia de la futura terminal, sino también para conocer la posible contaminación por chimenea (residuos gaseosos). Los vientos más frecuentes en el área son provenientes del noreste, auqneu debido a lo cambiante de los mismos no se pueden considerar a los mismos como predominantes. como ventaja de la existencia de la nombrada planta, se puede destacar que se podrá compartir el gasto de construcción del camino de acceso, ya que el mismo podrá ser compartido por ambas compañías (longitud estimada del camino de acceso: 3 kms).
Translation - English 2. Major Risks:
It is important to point out that inside the area of Finca ........., a future Power Plant (Electric Power Plant) is under legal tender (Company name: G........), which is a thermoelectrical coal power plant (see plan below). There are strong possibilities that this plant is built. The deadline to define this project is mid September, 2005. According to the information collected during the visit, this plant will be a latest generation plant (regarding reduction of contamination), but its principal waste is the ashes, which could be sold to the cement industry to be manufactured.
The already reserved area for the power plant is 100 acres, and the reserved area for gathering ashes is 28 acres.
The area for the power plant has been reserved in the high fields of the Finca.
At present, while still preparing this report, we haven’t received the Study of Environmental Impact concerning the power plant. This report will be used as a source of information to determine the degree of contamination of the plant, not only regarding solid residues that will be accumulated in the area but also in order to recognize the possible contamination by the chimney (gaseous residues).
The most frequent winds in the area come from the north east, but since these winds change frequently, they cannot be considered prevailing.
One of the advantages of the existence of this plant is that the cost of the construction of the access road will be shared by both companies (estimated length of the access road: 3 kms).
